So I went to my cousin's house for a whole week (!!) and had so much fun, hence the exclamation marks in the middle of the sentence. Again this year we made our list which is full of inside jokes and other things. But before I went to her house another one of my best friends came over with her sister!! We talked about anime which is basically all we talk about when we're together and the upcoming Anime North, which is next year. My parents hadn't exactly said yes, in fact they kind of said no. But after a talk with each of them my mom's answer has changed to a yes and my dad's is still pending. Thanks Aunt Margaret for the whole sit down and talk idea.
So during the week I was at my cousin's my spaghetti arms have officially strengthened to lasagna noodles after watering chickens and I have gained a new friend which I'll probably never see again but that's okay. I got my cousin hooked on Ouran High School Host Club. Boy do I love that show. We were so hooked we name the Crocodiles we made at VBS after the Hitachiin Twins. Mine is Kaoru cause I love Greg Ayres the voice actor of him and my cousin's is obviously Hikaru. Between the two of ours there is one difference that isn't that noticeable so let's play the "Which One Is Hikaru" Game. The Hitachiin Twins are my absolute favourite characters in that show but Mori and Honey are close contenders. So at this VBS thing I did there was this kid who hated us up until the last day. Probably cause it was water day and he expected to get us all wet. But there were also so many cute kids. Like James, Coen, Cambell, Tim, etc.. Too bad Caleb wasn't there again. He was probably the kid I'll remember most from last year. So on water day we received this envelope from the lady we were helping out. There was a flat yellow one and a puffy white one behind it. It was addressed to my cousin and I but they spelt my name wrong!! Argh! I'm not mad at it anymore because there was a little surprise in those envelopes. The yellow one contained a card from the leader lady saying how much she loved us and begged us to come back next year. Just kidding! She just said we were really good at our jobs. The second envelope I though contained money or gift cards or something in the general shopping area but I remembered we were volunteering for this so money would be dishonest and bad. I would've accepted anyway! Instead there were 2 Caramilk bars. One for each of us.
So water day commenced and my cousin and I thought "Nah, we're not going to get wet." And we were wearing jeans so we thought the kids would be nice and not soak us. It all started with a mini water fight with James. My shirt got a little wet and kept on getting wet all through the day. Then came the last group. Our game was boring by then so we let them have a water fight. Our mistake.
Here's a little math for you:
Kids + Free Water + Water Guns, Juice Jugs, etc.. = Soaked Leaders
My cousin and I were drenched from head to toe. Thank goodness we weren't wearing shoes, considering mine are cloth shoes and would've taken forever to dry.
I think the best part of my week was the 5 hour nap though.
After that some family friends came to our cottage. The little boy pinched my cheek really hard and my mom defended me and pinched his cheek and accidentally pushed one leg of his chair through our rotted deck. I tried not to laugh and with all those drama lessons at school restrained myself but once I got out of hearing and seeing range I burst. The kid started to cry but I really didn't care cause my cheek really hurt. In total that kid cried twice in the same day. Once cause of my dad and the other cause of my mom. I love my parents. I hate that kid.
Now I'm back home again with nothing to do but go on Facebook and DevianTart at 1 in the morning!! (^o^) Learned that little sucker from my Nana manga. Oh yea 2 of my favourite mangas which I recommend are Nana for the girls who like romance and La Corda D'Oro for those who love music like me!!
